Martin Currie is an Edinburgh-based specialist equity manager with offices in London, New York, Shanghai and Melbourne. Andy joined the business in 2005 as managing director with responsibility for marketing, distribution and product management globally. He is a member of Martin Currie's executive committee and was appointed to the main board in 2007. Previously, he worked for Investec Fund Managers, where he was joint managing director with responsibility for the pooled fund businesses in the UK and Europe, and was a main board director for Investec Asset Management. Prior to this, Andy spent 12 years at Scottish Widows Fund Management, where he was instrumental in building up their pooled fund business.
