Mark is an Executive Officer at Nomura Asset Management U.K. Limited, and is responsible for the institutional business development, product management and client servicing operations of the business, covering the entire EMEA region. He has been with the firm since 1999. Over five years ago, Mark set out to build an innovative Global Emerging Markets strategy that involves three regional specialist managers. NAM Singapore manages the Emerging Asia region while two external specialist managers handle the EMEA and Latin America regions. Currently the strategy is a little over two years old, as far as the management of “live” money is concerned, and has some 11 institutional clients and $500m under management. Prior to joining Nomura, Mark held a number of client relationship and business development roles at Morley Fund Management in London.
