Roy Carr is one of the four directors of Foresight Trustees Limited – a company established in 2007 offering services as a professional independent pension trustee.
Roy is a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries. Over a consulting career spanning more than 30 years with Mercer until 2006, he was involved with over 200 pension schemes of varying sizes and complexity. In addition to providing actuarial advice, he also advised on investment strategy, scheme design, communication issues and general interpretation of scheme documents and legislation.
He has provided leadership notably in the areas of professional standards and regulatory compliance in the past at Mercer and more recently in Foresight Trustees.
